We went to church ev...I grew up in a Catholic home. We went to church every Sunday but noone opened a bible at home, except for my grandmother's bible in the entry hall. However, because of my parent's divorce - and my brokenness even as a child, in the school (where we went to mass once a week), I reached for this Father God who met me at school, in my back yard - and just was "with" me - and I think that made all the difference.I didn't understand who I was to the Father - that came later:) Thank you for sharing your story,your journey. I found some roots in the Catholic church that were further developed in a positive way as I grew in my relationship with Christ when I did become a Christian years later.
